  1. Identifying difference types of investigative project (audit/research/service evaluation projects)
  2. Designing a research study and preparing study documentation
  3. Costing research studies and securing funding
  4. Applying for sponsorship
  5. Obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals
  • Staff planning or undertaking educational research projects such as a PhD or Master's degree or applying for career development awards
